Bolo has been adjusting to her new house well, she is jumping when we come through the door and licking us, I really think she is going to like it here. She has had a few accidents, but that is to be expected, we are training her to use the doggie door and she is getting the hang of it. My other 2 greyhounds love her and they love running in the yard together. I am so glad they we have her. Thank you again.

Bolo's frist day in foster
I have a hard time believing that little Bolo hasn't been in a home before - she is absolutely wonderful! It took her about an hour to sniff her way around the house and back yard then she picked a dog bed and settled down with the rest of the hounds like she had been here forever. She does the stairs like a PRO - she understands what the pool is and didn't even have to fall in to find out! I even think she gets the doggie door but the poor thing has tried it twice when the real door was already open so she tried to go thru it and hit her little head on the refrigerator! Tonight I'll take the time to make sure she can get thru the doggie door for real! Bolo is so beautiful - and especailly beautiful when she runs around the back yard. She eats well and is completely non-agressive at all times with the other dogs. She will eat from her dish but will not try to get in any of the other dogs' dishes. She will go around them and is happy to clean up any little bits they let fall to the ground! Last night she went to the crate when she got tired and laid down ready for bed. After the last turn out for the night I pointed to the crate and she went right in and laid down. She did cry a moment when I left her to go upstairs but it was over in less than a minute and she was sound asleep. this morning she was so happy and ready to get out of the box - she is still unsure that she can go outside by herself so she waited patiently for me to go with her to the yard then off she went! This week I'll give her some time upstairs with the kittty to make sure she is safe - then hopefully she will be spending the night upstairs on the dog bed. More to come!!!

Did someone describe this girl as shy? Not last night! She LOVED doing zoomies in the yard and showing off for me. I truly enjoyed watching her - I could have sworn she was even smiling!

Shy quiet girl
Bolo is such a reserved lady. A month ago when I walked her she was very shy. She has made a lot of progress, she is still shy and reserved but not nearly as much as she was before. My heart just goes out to her, I would love to be able to take her home but my girl would be very jealous! She is very pretty and will make a lovely new family member to your home!

Bolo has come a long way and man is she a beauty. Last night she was just craving attention and LOVED having her ears rubbed. She gracefully bounds around the yard playing with the other girls. She is great on a leash and not so shy anymore yet very polite and eager to play. What a great dog she will make someone. They won't be able to go anywhere without being stopped by people saying how gorgeous she is!

such a sweet girl
What a sweet girl! Bolo seemed shy at first, but warmed up once she got one-on-one time. I sat down on the ground and she just came right up for some ear scratching. She was almost in my lap, but she is so dainty, I did not mind one bit. Oh, and she is just beautiful! You will be the talk of the town with this pretty girl by your side!

New greyhounds to SEGA are always mystified by a faux deer in a neighbor’s front yard near the kennel. When we walk past the deer, we usually have to allow the greyhounds to approach it and sniff it until he/she is satisfied the deer is neither friend nor foe. Tonight was Bolo Gulfstream’s introduction to the deer. Click on the arrow (on the bottom left) to see their first meeting.

What a BEAUTIFUL girl she is. We had the pleasure of walking her last night and is she sweet! She is darling and so pretty. At first a little shy but it didn't take long to get big lovin out of her. I love the dark muzzle against the light fawn color and oh those Cleopatra eyes. We just loved her!
